Trinity Attendance Incentive Program

Trinity has a proud tradition of high attendance among our elementary Sunday School students.  As they approach High School, regular attendance for some, drops off.  We are planning to institute a program which rewards students for high attendance.  We have chosen the seventh graders because it will be their first year of Confirmation classes, and we are hoping that their experience will encourage them to attend Sunday School regularly as they become high school students.  This program is funded entirely by donations and has no effect on the church's budget.
Here is how the attendance incentive program works.  If a student misses no more than one Confirmation class, and no more than three Sunday School classes during their seventh grade year, they will receive a 30 GB iPod Video with their name laser etched onto the back.  If a child occasionally will attend another church, they can receive credit for doing so.  They must pick up a post card ahead of time from their Sunday School or Confirmation teacher.  The pastor of that church can sign the post card and drop it into the mail.
Both the seventh grade student and one of their parents must sign a contract to show their understanding of the attendance requirements. In addition, students who achieve perfect attendance in both Sunday School and Confirmation class, will receive an iSkin ($40) in their favorite color to help protect their new iPod. The iPod which the students will receive has a value of $300. More information about the iPod video can be found at iPod Video. Information on the iSkin can be found at iSkin.
This incentive is not limited to members of Trinity.  If you know a seventh grade student who is not attending a church, please let us know so that we may contact them.  If you have any questions please call Bruce at 308-830-0393.
